My steri-strips were removed by my recipient's home care nurse today. It feels so good to have them gone! I think I itch less without them. Thought I would post a picture for everyone to see.

My Story
I recently became a living donor. On January 18, 2008, I donated one of my kidneys and wanted to be able to share the experience with anyone interested. I had many questions leading up to our surgery and would like to help anyone out there who may be thinking about the process. While only you can decide if live donation is for you, I will gladly answer questions pertaining to my experience. This blog is my way to increase knowledge of kidney disease and to share my experience as a living donor.
